Is it Fall Yet???

I love, love, love every season, but I am seriously done with summer and ready to move on to cooler weather, football, different clothes, and a NEW season! There are some days that are so hot it is physically torture to be outside, which makes for LONG days inside with a toddler and a crawler!

This week brought the beginning of pre-season football and a visit from Grandma. I don't know when I'll start to realize that getting adorable pictures of my kids together is probably never going to happen, but I always make the effort. On "game day", I valiantly tried to take pictures of the 2 of them together, hugging, and being sweet. Instead I got 2 kids who acted like the other didn't exist, and one frustrated Momma. For those moms out there who are able to get sibling photos, I am VERY jealous!

With the arrival of Grandma, Carrington decided to show off her skills by climbing the ENTIRE first flight of stairs all by herself! That's right, she figured it out and did it alone! She is a teeny, tiny thing, but she DOES NOT let size get her down! :)

The kids have spent the week being thoroughly spoiled by Grandma and loving every second of it. Doug and I took advantage and had a fabulous date night one evening, and then Doug surprised all of us by taking off work on Friday and we spent the day at the zoo- always a family favorite! It was a ton of fun, and I can't wait to go back again, when it's not 100 degrees outside!
