Rylee's 3rd Birthday
I managed to not snap a single picture over Memorial Day weekend- not sure how that happened, but I have no photos to share. We were lucky enough to have Uncle Brian and Aunt Kristyn visiting, and we spent lots of time at the pool, which is always fun! Wish I had thought to bring my camera! :(
The next weekend, we went back to Virginia to celebrate Rylee turning 3!!!! She had an awesome pool party, and the kids had SO much fun, even though they were freezing cold. And, we have another big shout out to Aunt Melissa who managed to, once again, save one of my children's life. Carrington was flailing around in the baby pool, and Aunt Melissa didn't think twice to run full force over to the pool to save her! Yes, this is not the first time Melissa has had to make a daring rescue for the sake of my children! :)
Aunt Melissa's Baby Shower in Va!!!
The weekend before Memorial Day, we got to go up to Virginia and celebrate Baby Brooke!!! Even though she hasn't arrived yet, we are so excited about her coming! Trey and Carrington had an especially great time because they got to spend time with Rylee :). Doug always says that Rylee doesn't "like" him, but I think the real reason it doesn't feel like Rylee "likes" us is because she loves Trey so much, that nobody else matters to her when he is around! Ha!!!
You may be looking at these pictures and wondering why Rylee looks so cute wearing normal play clothes, whereas my children are sporting the pajamas look in the afternoon, outside. Well, the real reason is because (at the exact same time, mind you) Trey managed to cough so hard he barfed all over his clothes, and Carrington pooped all over hers, and it just seemed easier to put on jammies :). That's how we roll...
End of the "School Year"
I can't believe how much time I've let go by without blogging! The last thing I remember is the kids last week of school, which included Trey's super adorable year end concert. It was so fun to watch him up on stage singing and dancing (honestly, I was just thrilled that he stayed on the stage and didn't pick his nose! Woohoo!!!). We have about 10 minutes of video, which I need to figure out how to load on here, so in the meantime, I only have a few pictures- Trey and his teacher, Ms. Case, and Trey with his best friend at school, Davis. I am sad that we won't be attending Memorial Preschool during the summer, but we are looking forward to returning in the Fall!
