My brother, Brian, got married last weekend to his long-time girlfriend Kristyn Raze! We were so excited! Doug was the best man, I was a bridesmaid, and Trey was the ring bearer. It was a weekend filled with lots and lots of fun- and it was a LOT of work with two kids!
Trey was a maniac all weekend- the Mimslyn Inn (where the wedding took place) was beautiful, with gorgeous wine displays all over the lobby, huge winding staircases, a big fountain with rocks out front, and lots of fall decorations- including pumpkins and haystacks all over the large front porches. I write all of this so that you can imagine how enticing ALL of these things were for a 19 month old little boy! Trey peeled wine labels off of bottles, climbed up and down the staircases and ran through the restaurants, he threw pumpkins and climbed on haystacks, he threw rocks from the fountain at innocent bystanders, and last but not least- he decided to take a little "dip" in the fountain in his brand new dress shoes and tuxedo. Oh what fun! By the time my brother in law and his wife (Brian and Melissa) arrived on Saturday, I was pretty close to a breaking point. Luckily, they stepped in and were an amazing help with the kids. I'm pretty sure I couldn't have done it without them!
This weekend was so special- my Grammy and Papa got to meet Carrington for the first time, plus my Grandma met Trey and Carrington for the first time ever! It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to see the professional pictures when they are done!
