Trey's 9 Month Pictures!!!

Ok, I couldn't help myself... here are a few "sneak peaks" from the pictures Kristyn Raze took of Trey. She is amazing, and I wish she lived closer!!! I can't wait to get ALL of the pictures she took!

Trey's First Christmas!!!

We had a great Christmas this year! The entire Keenan side of the family came down to spend it with us, and it was a lot of fun! One tradition we have is that on Christmas Eve, we always get new Christmas jammies- so we have good dreams when Santa comes! This year, Doug and I also decided to have a Christmas Eve dinner tradition of fondue. It was a huge hit! Trey got lots of really cool presents- one of which was a toy rocking horse that Doug and I absolutely LOVED! The sad part about that is that you won't see any pictures of Trey on it just yet, since he is absolutely terrified of the rocking horse and starts to cry if it is even in his line of vision! Yes... that's right, Trey is scared of his first toy :(. Trey's big accomplishment of the week has been that he is no longer "army crawling", but is now 100% of the time "big boy crawling" on his hands and knees. I miss the army crawl, but this is adorable too. He also got to spend a lot of time with his Grammy and Papa and Big Daddy and NaniJay. Uncle Brian and almost Aunt Kristyn were also here to spend the holidays with us- yay!!! Kristyn took Trey's 9 month pictures, which I will post in a few days... in the meantime, here are a ton of Christmas pictures! Love to all!

Mini Christmas Session Pictures

Here are the pictures from our mini portrain session with Melody. We did these in November, but I didn't want to post them until we mailed out our Christmas cards. That morning started off great- we had an appointment time of 9:40am, Trey is a BIG TIME morning person, and he woke up that day at 9am, so we were golden... he was guaranteed to be in a great mood for pictures. Unfortunately, just before we actually took the pictures, we were waiting out turn, and Trey was playing with some toys, and a few odds and ends- which happened to be a plastic spoon. He got a little over zealous and stabbed himself in the eye with the spoon just seconds before it was our turn to go in for portraits. Of course, this led to screaming, and a very red eye! Oh well, we truly did our best! Enjoy!

9 Month Doctor Visit!

Today was Trey's 9 month well check with Dr. Loads. Even though it was a "well check", Trey still has a double ear infection that the antibiotics aren't getting rid of, so we are going to try a new medication. Trey's stats are the following:

Weight: 19 pounds, 7 ounces (40th percentile)
Height: 28 inches (50th percentile)
Head circumference: 44.5 (40th percentile)

He got his Hepatitis B shot today, but luckily that was the only one!

I'm pretty sure we are both looking forward to NOT having to go back until March 22nd! Yay!!!

An Early Christmas with Aunt Shannon and Uncle Adam!

Aunt Shannon and Uncle Adam brought presents over for Christmas!!!! Trey got a new sports game with a basketball hoop, baseball, and football, plus Trey got a new puppy stuffed animal, and a VTech story book toy, to make sure he works on not only his physical muscles, but also his mental and emotional muscles :). Uncle Adam and Daddy also almost share a birthday, so we celebrated with a cookie cake... turns out Trey loves cookie cake icing- big surprise there!!!! I'm so sad I forgot to get an "official" picture with Trey and Aunt Shannon! :( We may need to make a special visit over to see her, just for picture purposes!

Happy 9 Month Birthday today!!!! 12-20-09

Trey is 9 months old today! It has been a week full of ups and downs! We went and saw Santa at HM Properties, we got to see our first snow fall, Trey got his first ear infection- a DOUBLE ear infection, and the H1N1 flu, and he got to open a few Christmas presents from Grandma and Grandpa! We felt like it was only fair to open some gifts early, especially since he wasn't feeling very well.

Even though Trey hasn't been feeling the best, he has still been in good spirits. He LOVES bath time, playing with pots and pans while we cook dinner, and playdates with his friends.

We are looking forward to Christmas this week with NaniJay, Big Daddy, Uncle Brian, soon to be Aunt Kristyn, Grammy, and Papa! It will definitely be a full house!!!!
