Thanksgiving School Concert

Trey's Thanksgiving School Program went better than ANY of our previous concerts.  The first concert he ever had (which would have been last year's Thanksgiving Program), Trey cried the second he saw his Daddy, ran off the stage and never returned.  The second program (Christmas last year), Trey stayed on stage, stood in the back, sang NOTHING, and picked his nose through the entire thing,  and his third program (Spring/Graduation last year) was basically a repeat of the second, with an attempt at singing one of the songs.  So, as you can tell, our expectations for this year were at an all-time low, and I didn't even bring the video camera (which, by the way, I brought to every concert last year).  So, imagine our shock and surprise when Trey walked out with his class, stood in the center front, and sang every song- WITH hand motions!!!! It was most definitely a 'Proud Mommy Moment'.

This was also Allie's first concert, and she was awesome! She was the "perpetual waiver".  She also walked out with her class, stood front and center, and waived to her Mommy and Daddy (and occasionally Doug and I) throughout the entire 10-15 minute concert.  It was SO cute!!! She also did a little bit of singing, but mostly she waived and smiled... I'm thinking Beauty Queen in the making? :)
