Jammie Day at School and then Valentine's Day!

Jammie Day at school is one of my favorite days- mostly because it is super easy to get the kids ready in the morning, and they are so excited to be wearing their jams that they are extra agreeable- a Win/ Win for everyone!!!! This year was no exception, and Trey and Carrington both loved picking out their pajamas and heading off to school. :)

Valentine's Day was just after Jammie Day, and this year was really great. We spent the weekend putting together the kids valentine's, which (thanks to pinterest) consisted of little red and pink shovels, and cute little valentine pictures that we took with a big cardboard heart wrapped in pink wrapping paper. They were adorable! On actual Valentine's Day, we woke up to a pink breakfast of pink milk and strawberry poptarts (I might like to celebrate, but I don't have time for a lot in the mornings, so poptarts are all they got!). They also had little presents filled with new juice cups, white chocolate pretzels, stickers, and Valentine shirts (all thanks to Harris Teeter- again, my timeframe was really short, so I did the best I could and combined their Valentine gifts with the grocery shopping). That night, Doug made reservations at La Compania (my favorite) and the whole family went out to dinner. I was a little surprised (and scared) when I realized that we were the only ones in the entire restaurant with kids, but thank goodness, Trey and Carrington were both awesome. Carrington ate (and I'm not even exaggerating) eggplant, lobster bisque, an entire plate of raviolis, chicken fingers, french fries, lamb, stuffed chicken, mashed potatoes, rigatoni, and then topped her meal off with some gelato. The girl LOVES her food!!!!
