Trey had his first visit with the dentist last week. He was such a brave boy and opened up his mouth extra wide so they could count, clean, and put on special vitamins. Because he was so great, he got to pick out a prize from the prize box- I thought FOR SURE he would pick the little GI Joes, but instead he chose a pretty green beaded necklace for "Baby Sweetheart" (Carrington), and when I told him how proud I was of him, he said he "already had a new Diego toothbrush as a prize". How sweet?!?! He had NO CAVITIES, and as a reward, we spent the day at Dan Nicholas Park on Saturday, where Trey got to fish, feed the ducks, and play on all the super cool playgrounds!
In 6 months we will go back to the dentist, and I was extra brave and made appointments for BOTH kids in October!!! :) I must have been feeling like Super Mom that afternoon!
